I’ve perused Entertainment Weekly’s Fall Movie Preview, watched the trailers and come up with my list of 10 movies I wouldn’t mind seeing in the fall.
I was a bit on the fence about seeing “The Campaign,” simply because it’s about a political campaign, and who wants to pay money to see more of that? But my trust in Will Ferrell and Zach Galifanakis won out, and I’m glad it did.
Similar to the 2001 film “Wet Hot American Summer,” which was likewise written and directed by David Wain, “Wanderlust” (now on DVD) will probably end up being a cult classic. ‘Aliens/Predator’ Universe flashback (Movie review): Director Stephen Hopkins’ followup is over-the-top, brash, loud and fun.
Movie review: Still, this is a solid conclusion to a trilogy that brings Batman into the 21st century.
